About

I build the thing, then I teach it.

Charity Floyd

I am Charity Floyd, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than ten years in the field. I own and clinically direct Puzzling Patterns ABA in Hinesville, Georgia, and serve as Clinical Director at Lighthouse Behavioral Wellness Center in Mesquite, Texas.

I built Puzzling Patterns from the ground up. That means I have written the treatment plans and also the authorization guides, hired and trained the technicians and also built the onboarding system, sat with families and also fought the insurance appeals. I know what it costs to run a clinic well, because I have paid it.

Before all of that I spent two years practicing in Australia, which permanently changed how I think about service delivery and about what counts as normal. I am currently an EdD doctoral student.

The through line across everything I own is the same: children and clinicians both do better inside structures that were designed on purpose. Most of what goes wrong in this field is not a knowledge problem. It is a systems problem wearing a knowledge problem's coat.
